It's alright ma (I'm only bleeding)

It's freaking cold outside! I didn't feel like freezing today so I wore jeans and a big comfy shirt. This kind of outfit is not so typical for me, but in a way I feel good wearing it. I know Alex hates this snake shirt and he will get a heart attack when I step in to the cafe where his working. Oh crap, I'm late already, have to run!

Ihan tajuttoman kylmä ulkona tänään! Ei huvittanu palella joten päätin pukea farkut ja löysän  mukavan paidan. Tää asu ei oo ehkä sitä ihan ominta tyyliä, mutta silti jollain tapaa ei tunnu vieraatltakaan. Tiedän, että Alex vihaa tätä käärmepaitaa ja saa sydärin kun kohta astun kahvilaan missä se on duunissa. Voi hele, oon myöhässä, täytyy juosta!

Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Yesterday I had a really bad morning. There was no coffee and because I can't wake up (or function) without coffee I decided to make instant coffee from this very old powder. Well somehow I managed to ruin my coffee and it tasted like crap. After that I broke my mirror and found a huge spider near our bed. And because that was not enough I also ate a piece of moldy bread, yummy!

Eilen aamulla jutut ei menny ihan putkeen. Kahvi oli loppu ja koska en pysty heräämään (tai toimimaan) ilman kahvia, päätin kokeilla ikivanhaa pikakahvijauhetta. No jotenkin onnistuin pilaamaan kaiken ja se maistu ihan järkyttävälle. Ton jälkeen rikoin vielä peilin ja spottasin jättikokosen hämähäkin sängyn läheltä. Ja koska toi ei tietenkään ollu tarpeeks, söin myös palan homeista leipää, nam!

For my necklace I got my name with the same font than Carrie has hers in Sex and the City. I was also considering "Imagine", but in the end I just decided to get my name.

Omaan koruun halusin oman nimen Carrie-fontilla. Harkitsin myös laittavani "Imagine", mutta sitten lopulta päädyin vaan nimeeni.

Here you can see my yesterdays outfit trough the broken mirror. I didn't realize that you can see trough my top and it was really awkward at work.  Even in this picture you can see it, but I was in a hurry and didn't notice before it was too late...Anyway I was wearing very basic things: striped Weekday skirt, black H&M top and black ballerinas.

Sitten eilisen päivän asuun, joka on kuvattu rikki menneen peilin kautta. En huomannu, että mun topista näkyy läpi ja se oli tosi inhottavaa töissä. Jopa tosta kuvasta näkee sen, mutta oli kiireessä enkä huomannu, ennen ku oli liian myöhäistä...Päällä oli joka tapauksessa perus juttuja: raidallinen Weekdayn hame, musta H&M topp ja mustat balleriinat. 

Sunglasses from NYS, the place where I'm working. I looove them! Wafarer style, but very thin and with tortoise pattern. I also like the golden details, since I almost only wear gold these days.

Aurinkolasit NYS:ltä, paikasta jossa oon töissä. Oon niin ihastunu noihin! Wayfarer tyyliset, mutta tosi sirot ja kilpikonna kuviolla. Kultaset yksityiskohdat on myös kivat, koska käytän hopeeta tällä hetkellä aika harvoin.    

On Wednesday I cut Alex's hair and this is how it looked after cutting the sides roughly. How cute! I have to say I made a pretty good job.

Keskiviikkona leikkasin Alexin hiukset ja tältä se näytti kun olin ajanu sivut nopeesti. Kuinka söpöä! Hyvältä muuten näyttää pojan hiukset nyt, vaikka itse sanonkin.

In a moment of pure frustration today, I came to the conclusion that there is no angry way to say "bubbles"

Finally I found my fav over knee socks! They were lost for so long.

I want to get a lot of plants to our house. When I get my salary I will buy a big palm tree!

I have been unbelievably lazy and I haven't felt like curling (or even washing....) my hair. Braid is the fastest and the best solution for lazy days.

Oon ollu uskomattoman laiska hiustenlaiton kanssa, enkä oo mitenkään jaksanu kihartaa (tai edes pestä...) hiuksia. Letti on nopein ja paras ratkaisu laiskoille päiville.


Today I was wearing a big sweater, knee socks and a hat. You can't see it in the picture very well, but before taking this pic Alex was tickling me so much that I was laughing and crying at the same time and my make-up was all over my face.

Tänään päällä oli iso neule, polvisukat ja hattu. Kuvasta ei näy kauheen hyvin, mutta vähän ennen kuvan ottoa Alex kutitti mua niin paljon, että nauroin ja itkin samaan aikaan, ja tietty meikit levis ympäri naamaa.

I have been trying to find a way to see this Finnish soap opera online, but it seems impossible.

Oon yrittäny jollain tapaa nähä salkkarit netistä, mutta tuntuu ihan mahottomalta. Onks kellään vinkkejä, miten näkis salkkarit suomen ulkopuolella? Ainakaan Mtv3 katsomosta ei nää...buu!!

Today we went to see  the Carnival of Cultures. Nice hot day, lot of people, good music and food. These colorful small dreamcatchers were so cute!

Tänään mentiin tsekkaamaan The Carneval of Culturesia. Ihanan kuuma päivä, paljon ihmisiä ja hyvää musiikkia ja ruokaa. Värikkäät pienet unisiepparit oli niin söpöjä! 

Sweet popcorn that Germans love and I personally find disgusting. And the worst thing is that they only sell that one here, not the salty ones.

Sokerilla päällystettyä popcornia jota saksalaiset rakastaa ja ite henkilökohtasesti inhoan. Niin ja toi on ainoota mitä täällä tarjotaan, suolasia ei löydy mistään...

I was wearing a striped dress and believe it or not, orange lipstick. In the pictures my lips look just red, wonder why cause that MSCHIC's lipstick is very orange (Bloody orange to be precise).

Päällä oli raidallinen mekko ja uskokaa tai älkää, oranssia huulipunaa. Kuvissa mun huulet näyttää kyllä ihan punasilta. Aika outoa, koska toi MSCHICin huulipuna on tosi oranssia (Bloody orange).

Better picture of the dress. After the Carnival I planned to go to say hi to my colleagues. Well on the way to Alexanderplaz this girl came to tell me that I'm very pretty. I got so confused that I forgot to get out of the train....haha. Well that cheered up my day a little bit:)

Parempaa kuvaa mekosta. Karnevaalin jälkeen mun oli tarkotus mennä moikkaamaan kolleegoita duunipaikalle. No matkalla Alexanderplazille yks tyttö tuli kertomaan mulle, että oon tosi kaunis. Hämmennyin niin, että unohdin jäädä junasta pois...haha. Piristi kyllä mukavasti päivää:)

Easy hairstyles x 3

Messy bun
1. Tease the middle part of your hair a little bit to get more volume. This is not necessary, if you don't like teasing your hair.
2. Tie your hair up and make a loop.
3. Pull random sections to make the bun more messy and relaxed.
4. Add a hair accessory for a fancier look.

Braided up-do
1&2. Bobby pin your hair to the other side. Then french braid it, if you don't know how to french braid there is tons of good tutorials in Youtube.
3. Pin the braid up. If you have really long hair you can wrap it around your head as well.
4. Add a hair accessory or just leave it simple.
Low ballet bun (for this look you need a hair donut)
1. Make a low ponytail. I usually do it a little bit on the other side of my head.
2. Pull your hair trough the donut.
3. Wrap your hair around the donut, until you cover it completely. Then tuck your hair inside of it.
4. Secure it with bobby pins.

Görlitz park

 ^ I got a nice packet from my sister. She always sends us so nice things and this time we got a beautiful handmade kitchen towel. You can see it in the first picture on the wall. There is pictures and names of different ingredients in Finnish. It was too pretty to be used for cleaning hands.
^ Saatiin siskolta paketti. Kira aina lähettää meille niin kivoja juttuja ja tällä kertaa saatiin käsinpainettu keittiöpyyhe. Laitettiin se seinälle, koska se oli liian nätti käytettäväks.  

^ I saw this lovely looking apartment today. I would like to live there...
^Ihanan näköinen asunto jonka ohi käveltiin. Ois ihana asua tuolla...

^We had pizza and sat in a park reading books. After going back home it was more than 30 degrees outside and the train was packed. I was literally melting.
^Syötiin pizzaa ja istuskeltiin puistossa lukemassa. Kotimatkalla lämpötila oli yli 30 astetta ulkona ja juna oli ihan täynnä. Kirjaimellisesti paahduin siinä kuumuudessa.

Yesterday Alex made me a delicious ice coffee. Man it was good.

Eilen Alex teki mulle jääkahvin. Hele kun oli hyvää. 

I went to Mauerpark today. Even though I didn't find that amazing things I had a nice time. One of the few finds I made was this light blue loose shirt.

Käväsin Mauerparkissa tänään. Vaikka en tehnykkään mitään super ihmeellisiä löytöjä oli silti hauskaa. Yks löydöistä oli tää sinertävä meleerattu löysä paita. 

Cute heels with 3 euros. I also bought basic black ballerinas for work.

Söpöt kiilat 3 eurolla. Ostin myös perus mustat balleriinat duuniin.

I managed to cut a piece of my toe and these shoes are the only ones that I can wear. After Mauerpark I had to buy a Becks, it was too hot.

Onnistuin leikkaamaan pienen palan varpaastani ja nää on ainoot kengät joita voin pitää. Mauerparkin jälkeen oli pakko ostaa Becks, oli niin kuuma.

Sitting out side the place where I got my social security number. Nice word in German by the way: Sozialversicherungsnummer. Haha I still can't say it properly. The number was the last thing I needed to get for work, yay! Bag from American apparel, shoes and the gray sweater second hand.

Istuskelin paikan ulkopuolella, josta kävin hakemassa mun sosiaaliturvatunnuksen. Kiva sana muuten saksaks, Sozialversicherungsnummer. Haha en vieläkään osaa sanoo sitä kunnolla. Toi oli vika asia joka mun piti hoitaa duunin takia, jee! Kassi American Apparellin, kengät ja harmaa neule kirppikseltä.

Alex with my pink Monki scarf running to the subway. In the morning it was cold and then the weather suddenly changed and it got really hot. Poor Alex having that huge scarf...Soon I'm gonna cut his hair, like you can see it's really about time.

Alex mun pinkki Monkin huivi kaulassa juoksemassa metroon. Aamulla oli viileetä ja sitten yhtäkkiä sää muuttu tosi lämpimäks. Alex parka ison huivinsa kanssa...Kohta leikkaan herran hiukset, on kyllä aikakin, kuten näkyy.

After getting that number we went to the bank cause they misspelled my name to my credit cards. Well Irinen is quite near to Irina....haha.

Numeron hankkimisen jälkeen kävästiin pankissa, koska mun nimi oli painettu väärin kahteen pankkikorttiin. No onhan Irinen aika lähellä Irinaa...hehe. 

Pin-curls and coconut fat for skin care

I got this nice three finger ring from Oasap.com. Can't wait to get the rest of the things.
Hauska kolmen sormen sormus saatu Oasap.comista. En jaksa odottaa, että saan loput jutuista.

Last night I decided to try pin-curls at the first time. In the morning my hair looked like this and Alex laughed that I look like a grandmother...Well they didn't turn out that good, hopefully next time I will make them better. Anyway that's a good way to curl without heat. Useful video about how to make pin-curls here.

Eilen illalla sain päähäni kokeilla ekaa kertaa pin-curl kiharoita. Aamulla mun mun pää näytti tältä ja Alex nauro, että näytän isoäidiltä...Nojaa en oikeen onnistunu ekalla kerralla ainakaan ja jouduin kihartamaan useita osioita uudestaan. Tai ehkä oon vaan liian kriittinen. Toi on kuitenkin hyvä tapa kihartaa hiukset ilman kuumuutta. Hyödyllinen video aiheesta tässä.   

I wanted to tell you guys about a great product, coconut fat. Before I told you that I cleaned my make-up with olive oil and it made my skin good. Well this works even better! My skin has been getting better and better everyday since I started using coconut fat. I have always had a bad skin and it feels amazing not to have pimples at all. I really highly recommend to try this. That thing cost me 80cent and lasts many months. I have also heard that coconut fat is great for tanning as well.

Halusin kertoa teille tosi hyvästä tuotteesta, kookosrasvasta. Kerroin joskus, että puhdistin meikit oliiviöljyllä ja iho parani huomattavast. No tää toimii vielä paremmin! Mun iho on parantunu päivä päivältä tän käytön alotettuani. Mulla on aina ollu huono iho ja tuntuu ihmeelliseltä kun ei oo yhtään finniä missään. Suosittelen siis kookosrasvaa lämpimästi. Toi iso möhkäle makso 80 senttiä ja kestää monta kuukautta. Oon myös kuullu, että kookos rasva on hyvä rusketuksen tehostamiseen.
